Pistachio Protein Packed Smoothie

The Dubai chocolate craze has completely changed the way I see pistachios. They’re no longer just a crunchy snack to munch on they’ve become a star ingredient that works beautifully in both sweet treats and savory recipes.

While diving deeper into the world of pistachios, I discovered something surprising: these little green gems are packed with protein. One cup of pistachios has around 25 grams of protein, that’s almost the same as a serving of many protein powders!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shelled pistachios

  • ⅓ cup dried dates (pitted)

  • ½ cup whole milk (or your favorite milk alternative)

  • ¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • ½ medium banana

  • ½ cup fresh spinach

  • 1 teaspoon maple cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Take out your handy dandy blender

    and toss in all ingredients listed.

  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.

  3. Pour into a glass and serve immediately. Enjoy!
