How to Build a Delicious Dairy-Free Snack Board

Can I be real for a sec? Moving to Florida has been amazing in so many ways, but finding a group of gal pals that match the energy of my Jersey girls? Not so easy. I miss them like crazy especially our cozy nights in, full of laughs, drinks (obviously), and one non-negotiable: a snack board. Because let’s be honest, nothing elevates a get-together quite like a good charcuterie or snack spread. It’s the ultimate way to make any night feel special.

So today, I’m walking you through how I’d put together a little snack board if one of my gal pals were coming over. And since I’ve been dealing with some dairy struggles post-stomach bug, this one’s totally dairy-freebut trust me, it’s loaded with so much good stuff!

A wooden charcuterie board with sliced cucumbers, radishes, cherry tomatoes, lime wedges, Jalapeños, almonds, tortilla chips, and two bowls of queso and guacamole, on a white marble surface with a white linen napkin nearby.

  • Tortilla chips

  • Lightly salted almonds

  • Guacamole

  • Dairy-free queso (Kite Hill’s is my go-to—it seriously tastes like the real thing!)

  • Snack Peppers

  • Cucumber slices

  • Radish slices

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Jalapeño slices (for a little kick)

  • Lime wedges (because. squeeze of limes makes everything better)

What’s on my Snack Board:

How to Assemble:

  1. Wash everything thoroughly. Slice the cucumbers and radishes into rounds. Thinly slice the jalapeño. For the cherry tomatoes and lime, halve them first, then quarter.

  2. Spoon the guacamole and dairy-free queso into small bowls and place them on opposite sides of your board.

  3. Line up the cucumber slices to form a curved “river” running between the two bowls. This creates a natural divider and adds texture.

  4. Layer the snack peppers along the edges of the board, near the bowl with queso.

  5. On the side near the guacamole, layer the radish slices between the guac bowl and the cucumber river.

  6. Below the guac bowl, toss in the quartered cherry tomatoes and a handful of lightly salted almonds.

  7. On the opposite side near the queso, pile in the tortilla chips for easy dipping.

  8. Tuck lime wedges into any open spots around the board for a pop of color and citrus.

  9. Sprinkle jalapeño slices over the top for a little heat. If there are any remaining gaps, fill them with extra almonds.
