Collagen Yogurt Bites

It’s that time again… It’s officially way too hot to turn on the oven here in Florida, so we’re getting creative with frozen treats!

Today we’ll be making a minimal ingredient sweet treat that’s not only delicious, but also sneaks in a little extra support for your bones, muscles, and gut health.

I started adding Collagen Powder into my routine about a month ago because I’ve been focusing more on feeling good from the inside out. I’m all about simple wellness habits that actually fit into my life - supporting things like gut health, joint health, and overall wellness without making it complicated (because let’s be real… remembering to take a million vitamins every day is a struggle).

And if collagen powder isn’t your thing or you don’t have any on hand, you can easily switch it up with your favorite protein powder for a higher protein sweet treat!

Simple to make, refreshing, and perfect for those hot summer days!

Ingredients

Yogurt Bites:

  • Plain Greek Yogurt

  • Diced Strawberries

  • 1-2 Scoops of Collagen Powder (I used chocolate so chocolate covered strawberry vibe)

Chocolate Coating:

  • Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

  • Coconut Oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dice your strawberries then set aside.

  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

  3. In a medium bowl, mix together your greek yogurt, diced strawberries, and 1-2 scoops of collagen powder.

  4. Taking a medium ice cream scooper In a microwave scoop out your yogurt mixture and evenly scoop out onto your lined baking tray.

  5. Place in your freezer for at least 4 hours.

  6. Once you’re at the 4 hour mark. Take a small microwave safe bowl and add in your semi-sweet chocolate chips + coconut oil. Microwave in increments of 15 seconds, mixing between each set until nice and smooth.

  7. Remove the yogurt bites from the freezer and gently dip each one into the melted chocolate before placing them back onto the parchment paper to set. (Do you prefer a lighter amount of chocolate? Feel free to drizzle the chocolate over the bites instead or skip this step completely and enjoy them as it!)

  8. Once you’ve dunked or drizzled all your bites. Place the baking tray back into the freezer for about an hour, or until perfectly set.

  9. Once set, you’re ready to enjoy your collagen yogurt bites!
