Ingredients

For the Sangria:

  • 1 Apple, thinly sliced

  • 1 Pear, thinly sliced

  • 1 Orange, sliced

  • 3 Cinnamon sticks

  • 4 oz of Cointreau

  • 1 bottle of Prosecco (750ml)

  • Apple Cider, to top off

For the Glass Rim:

A glass pitcher filled with apple cider sangria and slices of apple, pear, and oranges alongside two empty wine glasses with cinnamon sugar-rimmed edges, and a bottle of Risata Prosecco on a wooden serving board on a kitchen countertop.
  1. Thinly slice your apple and pear, then cut each slice in half. For the orange, thinly slice it but no need to halve those full rounds look beautiful in the pitcher!

  2. In a large pitcher, layer the fruit starting with the apple and pear, followed by the orange slices.

  3. Add in the cinnamon sticks and pour in the Cointreau.

  4. Pop open your Prosecco and pour the entire bottle into the pitcher.

  5. Top off the mixture with apple cider until the pitcher is full (leave a little room for stirring).

  6. Give everything a gentle stir to combine, then set aside to let the flavors mingle while you prep the glasses.

  7. Grab your wine glass and run a lemon wedge around the rim.

  8. On a small plate, mix together the cane sugar and maple cinnamon. Dip the rim of your glass into the mixture, turning to fully coat.

  9. Add a few pieces of fruit from the sangria to each glass for a festive touch.

  10. Pour in the sangria and serve chilled.
